As a general guide, a comfortable residential golf simulator room is around 4 metres wide, 5.5–6 metres deep and approximately 3 metres high. Smaller rooms can still work — in some cases around 3 metres wide, 4.5–5 metres deep and 2.7 metres high — but this depends heavily on the golfer, launch monitor and overall setup.Ceiling height is particularly important if you want to comfortably swing a driver. Left and right-handed players, overhead launch monitors, projector positioning and screen size can also affect the dimensions required. If you already have a room or building plans, Swingpro can review the dimensions before you commit to the build.

The 19th - Golf Simulator Bar New Plymouth
“Mike and the team were a pleasure to work with and delivered our commercial golf simulator facility to a high standard. Mike brought some great ideas to the layout, was clear and transparent on pricing, and worked with us on different options for the bays. The build was completed on time, and we’ve had many compliments on the finished space. I’d happily recommend Swingpro for any commercial golf simulator build.”
